The LVE Team is comprised of volunteers and a board of directors with diverse backgrounds and lived experiences. We are passionate about promoting economic and social equity by connecting to and enhancing community support for unhoused, marginalized, and vulnerable people. As we work to decolonize our space, we have opted out of the colonial hierarchy of leadership and implemented a circle of governance rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Tigra-Lee Campbell, a Black and Indigenous mother of three, provides a relevant multi-cultural perspective. Her passion for diversity, equity, inclusion and advocacy stems from her personal experience with substance use disorder, inter-generational trauma and being unhoused. Tigra-Lee uses her own personal experience, coupled with the knowledge she has gained from working on the front lines, to deliver community care that is trauma informed and judgment free.
Director Tamara Dancy is a mom of two two Indigenous children. She is going to school for her Bachelors of Social work and will be complete in 2027.
